Join exhibiting artist Luisa Duarte for a conversation with Dr. Anna Tahinci, Professor and Area Coordinator of the Art History Department of the Glassell School of Art, on Duarte’s current exhibition, Personal Scapes: Recent Prints. Duarte and Tahinci will discuss Duarte’s new body of work and what she describes as “multiple belongings” (being Venezuelan by birth, Latin American by culture, and a Houstonian by choice), along with her manipulation of imagery, playful personification of geometry, and the impact of digital processes on her work.
